Drama

At Covenant Presbyterian Church we believe that children learn Bible stories and Christian values through many venues. Drama is another way to be actively involved in learning scripture and building relationships with each other and adults.

Vacation Church School Musical: Vacation Church School children gather for a week in June to play games, create crafts, listen to Bible stories and learn the songs to a musical which is presented during Sunday morning worship. In 2008 Oh, Jonah! was presented. In June 2009, Kindergarten through 6th grade children presented We Like Sheep.

Christmas Eve Pageant: Elementary and middle school children are invited to present the Christmas story with a traditional pageant at the 5:00pm December 24 worship service.

Puppet Ministry: The puppet ministry program at Covenant Presbyterian Church enhances the worship experience, teaches religious songs, and gives children a chance to express their dramatic skills in an exciting fun way.
