Haiti Earthquake Disaster Relief

Covenant Community is responding to the earthquake in Haiti with prayer, compassion and financial support. The humanitarian efforts are under way with ecumenical and international partners to provide relief in the form of food, water, medical, temporary shelter and other supplies. Our church community has contributed and continues to contribute through the Presbyterian Church (USA) in two ways:

  1. Presbyterian Disaster Assistance (PDA): Our Outreach Council has already sent $1,600 of Outreach budget funds to PDA, which has been matched with $1,000 from Covenant's Medical Mission Endowment Fund. In addition, Covenant members have since contributed $2,600.
  2. Medical Benevolence Foundation (MDF): Covenant has sent $2,600 from its Medical Mission Endowment Fund to MBF for Haiti together with $730 received from Covenant members.

The total raised by Covenant for Haitian Earthquake Relief thus far is $8,530. Thank you to all who have contributed!
