Puppet Ministry

The puppet ministry program at Covenant Presbyterian Church enhances the worship experience, teaches religious songs, and gives children a chance to express their dramatic skills in an exciting fun way. Puppets reach and teach children of all ages.

Puppet Camp and the Praise Puppet Team: During the summer, 4th, 5th, and 6th graders are invited to be part of the Praise Puppet Team. Rehearsals are three Sundays in August from 10:45 to Noon. The Praise Puppet Team present their songs in worship during Rally Sunday in September.

Puppets for Lent: All 1st through 8th grade children and youth are invited to a time of puppet ministry immersion from 6:00 to 7:00pm after the Wednesday Lenten Suppers in late February and March 2010.

Puppets during the Children's Time: watch for a variety of puppets to appear with the worship leaders to talk about Bible stories, Heifer Project International, and Christian values.
