Annual Meeting: Sunday, February 12 at 9:30am
The Annual Meeting will convene on Sunday, February 12 at 9:30am
in the sanctuary. The agenda will include receipt of the Annual Report, receipt of the 2012 Budget, election of the 2012 Nominating Committee, report from the Mission Study Task Force and approval of Gifts, Memorials & Bequests Committee's revised protocol.

Heifer Mini-Market: Sunday, February 12 at 10:00am
The Heifer Mini-Market will begin immediately following the Annual Meeting in Bradfield at 10:00am. Sunday school classes have studied a Heifer International animal for two weeks and will display what they have learned. Please bring your coins for the Sunday School banks. Help us reach our fundraising goal of $4,000 in 2012.

Chair Yoga Demonstration on Sunday, February 19
There will be a free demonstration and information available for "Chair Yoga" on Sunday, February 19th between church services. Watch for details in the bulletin and announcements.

Service of Healing & Wholeness on Sunday, February 19
"Shalom", the Hebrew word and blessing means "wholeness", "peace"
and "completeness". During this meaningful and prayerful service, we will seek God's healing and wholeness, "Shalom for the Soul". Using the "The Service for Wholeness" in the Presbyterian Book of Common Worship, our casual group will gather in the sanctuary at 2:00pm for prayer, inspiration and healing. I will give a short reflection, "The Wholeness of Shalom" using both reading of James 5:13-15 and Luke 8:43-48.

Trash & Treasure Collections Begin SOON!
Donations Accepted February 19 - 29

Now is a great time to start saving items for our 22nd annual "Trash & Treasure Sale!" Beginning on February 19, we will begin accepting in-house donations. This sale, to be held on March 3, is the only fund raiser for our High School Youth traveling to the Boundary Waters and on a mission trip to St. Louis. The youth have a fine tradition of donating 10% of the net earnings to charities through which they serve on mission trips.

Ash Wednesday, February 22
Supper at 5:30pm & Worship at 6:15pm

As we begin our Lenten journey, you are invited to join us for a simple soup and bread supper, followed by an Ash Wednesday Worship Service. Pastor Deb will be preaching as we prepare ourselves for our Lenten journey, seeking the promise of forgiveness and grace found in Jesus' journey to the cross and beyond.

Covenant Youth to Lead Worship February 26
The band, Exodus will be leading the music and our high school youth will have roles in worship at both services on Sunday, February 26.

Toilet Tissue Drive: Sunday, February 26 - Sunday, April 1
The Health Cabinet is sponsoring a Toilet Tissue Drive to assist the Allied Drive Wellness Center. Collections begin Sunday, February 26 and run through Sunday, April 1.

Cost: Freewill donation ($5 adult, children are free)
During the season of Lent, we take time to remember Jesus' journey to the cross, and to consider our own individual journeys of faith, Each Wednesday evening during the Lenten season, we will gather to share a meal together, followed by a short worship service featuring dramatic presentations by people who had encounters with Jesus. Members and non-members are invited to attend to reflect on our faith, to grow closer with Christ and to gain a deeper understanding of His love for us. Sign up on the Coming Events bulletin board or call the church office at 233-6297. Childcare will be provided for infants through Kindergarten.

Operation Overboard: Dare to Go Deep With God!

Who: All 3 year olds - Fall 2012 5th graders
Time: 3:30 to 5:30pm (family supper on June 21 at 5:30pm)

Join us as we dive deep into the waters of God's world and discover what it means to have deep faith. Vacation Bible School 2012 is a collaboration with Westminster Presbyterian Church.
