2020 Generosity Campaign
Then Jesus said to Bartimaeus, "What do you want me to do for you?" The blind man said to him, "My teacher, let me see again." Jesus said to him, "Go; your faith has made you well." Immediately Bartimaeus regained his sight and followed Jesus on the way. --Mark 10:51-52
Jesus asked Bartimaeus “What do you want me to do for you?” The answer was to return his sight. Jesus returned to Bartimaeus his ability to see and he followed him on the way. A generous gift was given…and an act of gratitude followed.
What are WE looking for from Jesus? What path are we called to follow? How can we find God’s way together?
This year the fall campaign to fulfill the faith ministry plan of Covenant’s ministry focuses on vision—to open our eyes to find the way to follow Jesus and to love our neighbor.
There are several ways we can participate in fulfilling the ministry of Covenant. The primary three are through our time, our talents, and our treasure. This year, in addition to a financial commitment card (which you can access here), there is a Serving Survey to complete as well. The leadership of the church would like to encourage you to use the gifts God has given to you to God’s glory in service at Covenant.
Please consider making a financial commitment to Covenant for 2020 and completing the Serving Survey by October 27.
If you need a packet or a pledge card, contact the church office. Please consider a generous pledge for our 2020 ministry. Lives are changed by the ministry of Covenant. Thank you for prayers, your involvement, and your financial support.
If you have questions about the 2020 Ministry Fund Budget, please contact any Session member or Finance Committee members.
If you have personal financial questions, contact Steve Webster at the church office Monday through Thursday from 9:00am-5:00pm at (608) 233-6297.
May God open our eyes, help us grow as disciples, and help us on our way to follow Jesus as Bartimaeus did.
Your Generosity Ministry Team,
Kris Anderson, Charlie Berthoud, Blake Hutchison, Laurie Jones, Bob Knudtson, Donita O’Donnell, and Carrie Sanders
