Earth Day Presentation

Honor Earth Day by learning about good works in our communities that care for the land while centering the voices and experiences of people who have been historically economically and racially marginalized. Rooted is an urban agriculture nonprofit committed to collaborations rooted in food, land, and learning, and enabling people to grow and thrive in healthy, equitable, and sustainable neighborhoods. Hedi Rudd, co-executive director, will share details about the organization’s many initiatives, including community gardens, one of Madison’s oldest organic urban farms, and farm-to-school initiatives.
