MIDDLE & HIGH SCHOOL YOUTH CONNECTION
All in-house Youth Connection activities are on a break until further notice. We are doing some on-line "zoom" gatherings. Contact our Youth Ministries Coordinator for more information.
The basic principle of Youth Connection is that it is designed to give youth the opportunity to become connected to Christ through participation in a wide variety of activities. This happens through our Sunday gatherings, overnight retreats, local mission opportunities, and summer trips. Involvement is open to members and non-members alike.
A typical Sunday gathering is very informal. It usually involves some cooperative group games, small group discussions on a wide range of topics, and devotions.
Both groups are involved in serving the community. Local mission opportunities may include, but are not limited to, work through agencies such as The River Food Pantry, Second Harvest Food Bank, and the Community Action Coalition.
To participate in our off-site activities, youth will need to have a completed permission form, which you can download here, on file with our Youth Ministries Coordinator.
