Our prayer and care go hand in hand. Each week in worship, we share joys and concerns, and we pray for each other. Prayer lists are available every Sunday. Our Deacons, Care Team, and staff work together to care for members in need.
Names will ordinarily stay on our prayer list for five weeks. If you would like to be added to the list, remain on it longer than five weeks, or be removed from it, please contact the church office at (608) 233-6297 or email@example.com.
The congregation Care Team is led by Care Team leaders with support from the Pastoral Staff and the Care Team Ministry Coordinator. Service is provided in a non-judgemental, non-proselytizing manner. All Care Team members are screened through background checks. They are trained and continue to receive ongoing training from the coordinator of the ministry and confidentially provide respectful, compassionate non-medical assistance.
We offer services that include:
Rest and relief for primary caregivers
Friendly visits and phone calls
To request assistance, please contact the church office at (608) 233-6297 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Once or twice per year, one of our pastors leads a Grief Support Group for those who recently lost a loved one. Watch the Caravan (see Resources tab, "News and Updates") for information on the formation of a new group, or contact the church office. Click here for resources from the most recent support group.
Covenant Grief Group Gathering Tuesday, March 2 at 7:00 via Zoom
The death of a loved one can be like the death of part of yourself. Grief can include emptiness, loneliness, anger, and adjustments; and these feelings may be compounded during Covid-19. Join Chelsea Cornelius and Donna Monson for a one-time gathering to talk about grief and loss.
In addition to sharing experiences (optional) we will talk about grief coping skills and how our Christian faith gives us hope. Matthew 5:4 tells us, “Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.”
Email Donna or call the church office (608-233-6297) to register for the class.
