2026 Mission Grant: Food Insecurity
Addressing food insecurity in the Dane County area is a major mission initiative at Covenant Presbyterian Church. We anticipate making grants of up to $10,000 for programs that address this issue. Funds may be used to initiate a new program or to expand an existing program.
To qualify, an organization must:

Verify its status as a registered, non-profit organization.

Submit a full application for the grant.

Demonstrate that a valid need exists for the program.

Explain that no other agency/organization is providing the service or the need surpasses the services available.

Affirm that the agency/organization does not discriminate against marginalized populations. (e.g., LGBTQ+)

Disclose any ongoing public relations or investigations that could impact Covenant Presbyterian church.
Grants cannot exceed half the existing budget of the agency/organization. Funds not used in accordance with the grant application [during the grant period] must be returned. We expect to receive a report on the use of funds by the end of the funding period.
Applications are due by July 1, 2026. The application form can be accessed HERE. We anticipate announcing awards on August 25, 2026, with grant funds made available on September 15, 2026.
