them will be like a wise man who built his house on a rock.Matthew 7:24

The Capital Campaign is asking people to support Covenant’s ministry to build a new parking lot. Several hundred people arrive and park to use Covenant's building all week long. The church is heavily used, not only by our own congregation for church events, but also for community and civic events.

Providing safe and adequate parking is the gateway to the church and is crucial to fulfilling Covenant's programs and missions. The parking lot has required ongoing time and financial resources to keep it functional. It can no longer be delayed.

Our Parking lot reconstruction will focus on flood control and water quantity and quality, as required by the City of Madison. These improvements reflect our commitment to environmental stewardship, as well as ensure compliance with the current City of Madison stormwater management requirements.

Your gift to the capital campaign will not only help us reconstruct our parking lot but also strengthen our entire organization ensuring that we can sustain and grow our programs for years to come. In accordance with Covenant tradition, ten percent of all gifts will be allocated to mission programs chosen by the Mission committee and approved by Session. In the event that we receive more gifts than needed to complete the parking lot work (for example, through congregational generosity, under-budget project expenses, or both) those funds will be used by Session to meet other needs of Covenant. Your generosity is much appreciated!

Capital Campaign materials are available to pick up in the narthex on Sunday, October 12, 2025. They will be included in the Generosity Campaign packets. Any packets not picked up will be mailed October 15.

Please give as you are able and as you feel called by God. When you offer your time, talents, and treasures, you are taking part of a rich tradition that has sustained this church family through the generations.

LEARNING GOD'S LOVE, LIVING GOD'S LOVE

We are a community of people who gather to worship, learn, and grow as Christians. We don't have all the answers, but seek to discover God's will and ways in our families, community, and across the world. Together, we enjoy fellowship and strive to serve God in our daily lives.
